Amanda is currently filming "Random Acts of Romance", the new comedy feature by Katrin Bowen. For information on the film and details of her character "Dianne" please bookmark http://www.randomactsofraomance.com and check it out. At the end of February Amanda travels to London, UK to attend as one of the guests at Chevron 7.8 which is Massive Event's Stargate Convention at the Radisson Hotel, Heathrow. Dates are 24-26th February 2012 with details on their website www.massivevents.co.uk. Among the activities there are photo opportunities, autographs, Q & A's with the guests and an auction benefitting Sanctuary for Kids. Sanctuary for kids is in the last two weeks of its fundraising "Bricks and Blocks" campaign. With $22,000 CA already raised through this campaign, do join with fans online and offline to complete the last house or two in these last fourteen days by buying a brick for $20! Finally, the website will be undergoing some major work shortly. I will give as much warning as I can of any disruption to service but we are working hard to avoid that! Stay warm everyone! A very Happy Christmas to all Amanda's fans everywhere! Amanda finished shooting "Space Milkshake" a few weeks ago and is now having her Christmas and New Year break with her family. Look out for the two part season finale of Sanctuary at the end of the month. I'm sure you will all agree that Season 4 has been fantastic! As you will see over the coming months and into 2012 the website is gradually having a major update and I will be revamping it, section by section to give it a new look. Additionally I will gradually be replacing some photographs and many of these will be replaced with those of the fantastic photographer Dennys Ilic (www.dennysilic.com) who has given me permission to use his photographs of Amanda and will be, over the coming months, providing me with more images. Amanda is currently in Regina, Saskatchewan filming the sci-fi comedy, Space Milkshake, with Kristen Kruek, Billy Boyd & Robin Dunne. Looks like a fun film project - and she's even going redheaded for it! The film description on the Facebook page is that it is about four spaceworkers on a run down orbital sanitation station who run into a few problems when they salvage a strange device from space ship wreckage.
