MERRY CHRISTMAS:
Merry Christmas has it's charm with balls of
popcorn all around. With Ornaments of Gold,Silver
and some Red. Tinsel hanging on the tree, across
the floor and some on me. It's Christmas time
once again, when Santa came on this day. Roasted
Turkey and some pie make for a festive mood. All
the gifts have been opened with a smile and some
glee. The kids are tickled pink, they know Santa
came and went. This day was a blessing for all
who faired with some christma cheer and a keg of
beer (the store was out of eggnog). So what's a
Host to do? CHEERS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD DAY,
EH!
I hope this brings what ever kind of festive mood
your in, so when I wrote this poem for you Amanda
and Alan it's very special. I have another one on
poetry.com and couldn't access it, so I hope this
brought a laugh. I'm silly and very much
canadian, eh! God Bless Wendy Martin

Dear
Amanda !!
I wish You and Alan - and Your family- a
wonderful christmas and only the best for 2005 !!
One of Your dearest wishes has yet come true with
Your pregnancy :-)))).
May the last three months be free of worries and
any complications but full of joy and
anticipation.
Hope the delivery ( do you say so in english?)
will be an easy one. It's a very profound
experience.....if asked which moments I'd want to
go through again it would be giving birth to my
two children despite the pain , the hard
exhausting work :-)))...it's definitely worth it
all.
That little one will change absolutely
everything, turn Your life upside down, alter
priorities, make You see all the little wonders
of the world anew.
I keep my fingers crossed for Your well being and
I'm looking forward to meeting You in London
sometime in late 2005 ;-)) .
Take good care

Hi
Amanda and Alan-
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a
joyous New Year, full of happiness and love. Hope
all is well with you and you are in good health
(including future baby Kovacs). Keeping my
fingers, toes and eyes crossed for an easy
pregnancy and a safe and healthy delivery. Also
sending lots of positive thoughts and prayers
your way.
Amanda - Thanks for being the great and kind
person you are. I appreciate the time you've
personally spent with me at the Seattle, WA
convention and at Gatecon.
Alan - I wish you joy, peace and happiness as a
new father.
Peace always,

Hi
Amanda,
I hope that you Alan and the pup have a
wonderful Christmas and New Year! Also belated
congratulations on the pregnancy, which I hope is
going smoothly. You are very talented, and seem
like a wonderful person as well. I don't know if
I'll ever get the chance to meet you in person (I
share what's probably the fantasy of every fan --
the wish to get a chance to actually become your
friend as opposed to just an anonymous admirer)
but be assured that there's a lot more of us out
here than the ones you see. If I
can be so forward (or even if not) I'm enclosing
a big hug, as well as assorted slurps snuggles
and nuzzles from the dogs and horses.

Life should NOT be a journey to the
grave with the intention of arriving safely in an
attractive and well preserved body, but rather to
skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini
in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally
worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a
ride!" |

Amanda,
 I just wanted to
congratulate you on another exceptional year of
Stargate. Season 8 has been great so far and I am
anxiously awaiting you guys being picked up for
season 9. Stargate is by far the best scifi
adventure on tv thanks largely in part to you and
RDA, MS, and CJ. The sets and storylines are
great, but without you 4 to pull it together,
there wouldn't be much to talk about.
On a personal note, I was very saddened to hear
about the 2 miscarriages you suffered. My wife
and I also went through two miscarriages in the
last year but are still hopeful that things will
work out. We do have one little girl so far
thanks to the the high tech efforts of IVF and
are hopeful that we will be able to give her a
sibling soon. On a lighter note, I was ecstatic
to hear about your little bundle of joy that is
on the way. Congratulations on the preganancy. I
hope all is going well and I can only imagine how
eagerly you and Alan are awaiting his/her
arrival.
Well, I know you have lots of email to work
through so I'll keep this brief. I hope you and
your family have a wonderful holiday season. May
you and your family be truly blessed and also
know that my thoughts and prayers are with you
for a safe and healthy pregnancy. Keep up the
fantastic work on Stargate and Proof Positive.
See you soon (on the tv that is).
